Optimization

Phrase files grow in size as they not only store the phrases but also the version history with all phrase changes, user comments and usage counters.

To clean up and optimize the data structure of a phrase file:

1. Open the main program window.
2. Highlight the phrase file root node you wish to optimize.
3. Select File » Properties » press button Optimize database.
4. Select from the descriptive options.

After confirmation with OK, PhraseExpress will optimize the phrase file and inform you about the file space it could free up for you.
